Hamish's Hoose, Paisley, February 2003
On the road to promote their Hotwired EP, The Zips have a new lease of
life. With Jam-style riffs and catchy, three-minute power pop, this four-piece
is as punchy as possible. Energetic frontman John McNeill tells the crowd
his songs are "short and to the point".
The powerful Don't Tell Us You Don't Know sounds so familiar you could
almost sing along.
(4/5 Stars)
